Bragard size tags carry a global sizing tag that can be confusing. Work off the BRAGARD Size, which is the FRENCH size.
You can use the online size guide to size yourself.
Our advice for taking correct measurements:
Chest: Measure across the front, fullest part of the chest/bust with your arms loosely by your sides
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline above the hips
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips
Inseam: Measure from the base of the crotch to the bottom of your pants, or select a pair of pants that fits you well and measure the inner leg seam.
I have an existing Bragard jacket, is the Australian fit the same?
If the jacket is the same style, the fit will be the same as your current jacket. Just keep in mind that some jackets have different cuts, for example, classic vs slim-fit.
In our opinion, some styles of slim-fit jackets can run small, be sure to check the product page description in case we've left a friendly tip for you:
Look for: 'This jacket runs small, consider ordering one size up'.
What if it doesn't fit?
If your garment does not fit, you can return it if it's in resalable condition, noting that the return postage is not free of charge. However, if you need to exchange a jacket for a different size, please contact us, and we'll offset the cost of the second garment's postage as part of the process.
Can I get a sample to try on?
Although we do not supply free sizing samples, you can purchase a product and return it if the fit is wrong, as above.
